Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Names New Chief Executive Officer

Cedar Park, TX (March 11, 2010) - Cedar Park Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) today announced that Tim Adams will assume the permanent role of chief executive officer.  Adams has been serving as the interim CEO since late January 2010.

“After much thought and discussion with those involved in the search process, the decision has been made to name Tim as the permanent CEO,” said Tom Gallagher, chairman of the CPRMC Board of Trustees. “Tim has worked with Cedar Park Regional for more than two years and has intimate knowledge of its day-to-day operations. He has the leadership experience for this important role and is the right choice for the CPRMC team moving forward.”

Adams, who comes with 25 years of hospital management experience, most recently served as Vice President of Operations for Division II at Community Health Systems, Franklin, Tenn.  In that role, Adams provided operational support and leadership to 18 Texas hospitals. Prior to that, Adams served as a Division President with Lasis Healthcare, overseeing three Florida based hospitals. He also has experience serving as a CEO in three Texas hospitals.   Adams holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Baylor University.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
