da Vinci Robot Ribbon Cutting and Open House Scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2010
Cedar Park, TX (January 13, 2010) - Cedar Park Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) invites you to join us for a ribbon cutting and open house to celebrate the addition of the da Vinci robot. Refreshments will be provided along with a demonstration of the system and the announcement of the winner of the “Name-Our-Robot” contest. The reception will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 6:30PM in the main lobby of the hospital.
Carl Bischoff, M.D., a urologist who recently joined the medical staff at CPRMC, has performed three kidney related procedures including a pyeloplasty as well as a left radical laparoscopic nephrectomy.
“The da Vinci® Surgical System, provides a surgeon improved visualization, enhanced dexterity, and control. Patients experience shorter hospital stays, less pain, less risk of scarring, and faster recoveries,” said Dr. Bischoff.
