Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Opens Women's Imaging Center

Cedar Park Regional Women’s Imaging Center will open in January 2023 to provide breast imaging and diagnostic services. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime and early detection provides the best outcomes against the disease.

The 2,431 square foot space will offer 3D mammography with advanced biopsy capabilities, ultrasonography and bone densitometry. The facility adjoins Cedar Park Regional Family Imaging Center at 1301 Medical Parkway next to the hospital. It has a dedicated entrance with convenient parking and registration on-site. Radiologists from Austin Radiological Association provide readings of the mammograms and bone density studies and provide reports to the patients and their primary care physicians.

According to Bo Beaudry, CEO, “We are excited to open a center that is dedicated to the detection of breast cancer at its earliest and most treatable stages. Our vision is to offer the full continuum of women’s imaging services with a personalized approach. The center offers patients enhanced comfort, convenience and privacy.”

A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will be open to the community on Thursday, February 16, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Women’s Imaging Center.
