Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Commemorates Doctors’ Day with a Donation to the Breast Cancer Resource Center
4/1/2024
Cedar Park Regional Medical Center marks National Doctor’s Day by expressing gratitude to the dedicated providers serving our community and hospitals. Instead of traditional gifts, we've chosen to make a meaningful contribution to the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Central Texas (BCRC), a local charity deeply committed to supporting those affected by breast cancer.
According to Sean Tinney, CEO of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, "Our donation of $5,000 to BCRC underscores our appreciation for the invaluable work they do in providing personalized support to individuals and families grappling with a breast cancer diagnosis." BCRC's client-centered approach, offered at no cost, resonates deeply with our mission, and through our Cedar Park Breast Center, we've witnessed firsthand the positive impact of their services on our patients and their loved ones”.
On Friday, March 29, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center leadership had the honor of presenting a check to the Breast Cancer Resource Center in anticipation of Doctors’ Day on March 30. Among those present were Julie Lindholm, Alyssa Mallow and Phyllis Rose from BCRC, along with Sean Tinney, Dr. Edward Bombach, Dr. Maneesh Amancharla, and Dr. Mikaela Rush from Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.
Doctors’ Day traces its roots to Winder, Georgia, initiated by Eudora Brown Almond, who sought to honor doctors for their unwavering service. Today, on March 30, we continue to pay tribute to these professionals who tirelessly contribute to our community's health and well-being. Cedar Park Regional Medical Center extends heartfelt appreciation to doctors everywhere for their dedication and profound impact on society.
