Cedar Park Regional Sleep Center Achieves National Accreditation

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) has awarded accreditation to Cedar Park Regional Sleep Center, a program of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. AASM accreditation is considered the ‘gold standard’ for sleep centers across the United States. Since their first accreditation in 1977, they have certified over 2500 sleep centers. The AASM is known for their journals on sleep medicine, development of clinical guidelines, legislative advocacy, and educational outreach. Their mission is “achieving optimal health through better sleep” and for the last 40 years, they have been the only professional society dedicated to the subspecialty of sleep medicine. The AASM is dedicated to promoting excellence in sleep medicine health care, education and research.
